My story

Every body deserves a class that fits

I started teaching because I wanted to create a space where no one feels left behind. Not everyone wants a target‑driven gym session — many people simply want to move well, feel better, and enjoy the company of the other participants. In older‑adult exercise, these principles are essential. Their health conditions, goals and daily realities shape every session, so I design classes around the people in the room, adapting to their abilities rather than forcing a routine that doesn’t fit.

A Core Group Exercise Instructor, Physical Activity and Health Specialist with over 27 years of experience and Chartered Senior Practitioner status, I specialise in group exercise that works with your body, not against it. Whether you're managing a health condition or simply want to stay active and independent, there's a place for you in this class.

Questions answered

How much does it cost?

Classes are pay as you go — no contracts or commitments. Your first class is free, so you can come along and see if it's right for you before spending a penny.

How often do classes run?

Classes run once a week during term time. For many members it becomes a reliable part of the week — time set aside just for yourself, away from home and routine.

How quickly will I see results?

Many people notice a mood lift, better energy, and easier joint movement from the very first class. Within a few weeks, coordination improves, stiffness eases, and getting up from a chair feels noticeably easier.

Can I just turn up?

Please email or phone first for a quick chat about the class. It means any questions get answered and I'll know to expect you on the day.

What happens if I can't keep up? My coordination isn't very good.

Everything builds in easy stepping stones. By the end of class, you'll be surprised by how much you managed — that's by design, not by accident.

I'm not very fit — will I cope?

Just do what you can. These classes use natural, everyday movements — many of which appear on physiotherapy rehab sheets. No fitness baseline is required.

Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely — friends are very welcome. Just let me know in advance and ask them to give me a quick call or email before the class.

What should I wear and bring?

Comfortable clothes you can move in freely, a bottle of water, and a smile. That's genuinely all you need.
